Software Developer

You will work closely with other development teams, product management and QA to define and implement new product offerings while ensuring the continued functionality of the existing reporting engine which provides the critical visibility our customers depend on to run their businesses. Technically, you will be challenged with building large scale and highly scalable reports and engine with the ability for deep end user customization. You will use existing methods and best practices to develop new techniques as appropriate to create features and platforms with the highest levels of security, reliability, efficiency, and scalability. You must have an intimate, working understanding of modern web applications from database to browser. You must have a proficiency in SQL and experience with large scale database driven applications. You must be an excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts. You must have a record of working to deadlines in a rapid development cycle and prioritizing competing demands. Pride in your work and a desire to delight the customer should motivate you to take initiative, take responsibility and take ownership of your projects.

Qualifications/Skills:

• B.S. in computer engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years software development experience with Java or C++
• Experience working with scalable, high performance client/server infrastructure
• Internet technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript)
• SQL database experience
• Superior communication skills in both English and Czech

Recommended

• Agile programming methodology, including SCRUM
• Experience with modern reporting engines and report development
• Enterprise business application development experience
